The Louisiana Beverage Association represents 16 soft drink production plants and distribution facilities located throughout Louisiana providing direct employment to almost

4,000 workers. With direct economic impact of $2.8 billion, Louisiana’s

beverage industry provides $306.4 million in wages and benefits and contributes $230.1 million in taxes at the state level and $351.1 million at the federal level. Louisiana's beverage industry also generously contributes $17 million to charitable causes across the State.
