Personal Testimony Pastor Larry Willige

Early this summer, our daughter Lawry was having terrible headaches. We didn’t know this, but she had been to the Dr. and had an MRI done. She was supposed to go and get the results of the MRI a week or so later, but decided to come and visit us in Florida for a month.

Now every Sunday night we have prayer with our Pastor Reggie Scarborough, at Family Worship Center. In fact, one of the main reasons we moved to Lakeland, Florida was because we wanted a church where they teach and live by the leading of the Holy Spirit and we found that in Pastor Reggie.

Anyway, those of you who know Lawry KNOW that she is not one to go to prayer meetings. So every Sunday night we would do everything but beg her to go with us. But on one Sunday night in particular, she wanted to go.

During prayer, Pastor Reggie went over to Lawry and placed both of his hands on her head and prayed for her in the Holy Spirit. A little later on, Pastor Reggie went back a second time and prayed for her in the Spirit. We didn’t know what was happening at the time, but the Lord knew what He was doing!

When Lawry returned home, she made an appointment with the Dr. He sent her to have another MRI along with x-rays. When she finally got the report, the Dr. came in just shaking his head in disbelief. He told Lawry that he had personally gone and checked the files to make sure he was looking at the right film. In the first MRI (the one she had done before she came to visit us), it showed an inoperable tumor on her brain stem; but on the second MRI (the one she had done afterward), the brain tumor was gone! PRAISE THE LORD!

We are so thankful Pastor Reggie’s obedience at the leading of the Holy Spirit resulted in a true miracle of God. HALLELUJAH!
